Raquel P. Andrade
Raquel P. Andrade graduated in Biochemistry from the University of Lisbon in 1996, after which she conducted her PhD studies at University of Minho and Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, on nutrient-dependent gene expression regulation. She then performed a post-doc on Developmental Biology, studying gene expression oscillations of the vertebrate embryo molecular clock. She was awarded a Compromisso com a Ciência contract and held a Research Assistant position at Life and Health Sciences Research Institute (ICVS/UMinho) from 2007 to 2014. Since then, she is an Assistant Professor at University of Algarve and head of the Temporal Control of Cell Differentiation Laboratory.
