Assistant Professor and a member of the Centre for Advanced Studies in Management and Economics. A few years ago she was also the Director of the Bachelor Course in Business Administration. She holds an MA in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Manchester and a PhD in Industrial and Business Studies from the University of Warwick. Her main research interests include performance measurement and management in the public sector. She has published some of her research in international journals such as Omega, the European Journal of Operational Research, the Journal of the Operational Research Society and the Health Care Management Science journal.
Assistant Professor and a member of the Centre for Advanced Studies in Management and Economics. He is also the Director of the Master's in Economics of Innovation and Entrepreneurship program. He holds an MSc in Management and Strategy from ISCTE Business School of the Institute of Lisbon and a PhD in Strategic Management from the Business School of the Sheffield Hallam University. His main research interests are business strategy and quality management and he has published both in national and international journals.

Full Professor of Quantitative Methods Applied to Economics and Management. PhD holder in Economic Science, specialized in Econometrics, he also holds both an MA in Econometrics by the School of Economics of the University of Manchester and an MSc in Mathematics Applied to Economics and Management by the University of Lisbon. Professor Rebelo has been a member of the Research Centre for Spatial and Organizational Dynamics and his publications are mainly in the field of theoretical and applied quantitative methods. Previously he was the Dean of the Faculty of Economics. Currently, he is the President of the Scientific Committee and the Director of the PhD Programme in Economic and Management Sciences. He is also a member of the General Council of the University of Algarve.

He is Dean of the School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism and also the Director of the Master's in Hospitality Management. His research interest are hospitality and regional development and tourism and he has published both in national and international journals.
An assistant professor at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Algarve and a member of the Center for Research on Spaces and Organizations (CIEO). Holds a PhD in Organizational Psychology and is a specialist in the areas of Human Resources Management and Organizational Behavior. Her main research interests are related to the transfer of knowledge, entrepreneurial ecosystems, empowerment, engagement and innovation. She is the author of numerous articles published in international journals with revision process, chapters of international and national books.
PhD in Economics, University of Coimbra. Currently he is a post-doctoral research fellow at Centre for Social Studies, University of Coimbra and a visiting Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Algarve. His research interests are innovation systems, knowledge production and transfer, emergence of maritime clusters, and regional development. He has published both in national and international journals.

PhD holder in Tourism and Masters in Economics and Business Studies. The main interests of Professor Lopes focus on tourism research and on both qualitative and quantitative data analyses. She has been a member of the Research Centre for Spatial and Organizational Dynamics.
PhD holder in Economics and a MA holder in Economic and Management Sciences. He is an Assistant Aggregated Professor and a member of the Centre for Advanced Studies in Management and Economics. He authored several books related to the macroeconomic effects of public investments, and several articles published in international journals in the area of applied econometrics focusing macroeconomic and financial issues related to economic growth, the effects of public policies and tourism. He is Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics and also the Director of the Master's in Financial Economics program.

Professor José is the Director of the Bachelor Course in Sociology at the University of Algarve. His main interests and published work focus on qualitative data analysis and on household sociology.
PhD holder in Management, specializing in strategy and organizational behavior, and a MA holder in Economic and Management Sciences. Assistant Professor and a member of the Research Centre on Spatial and Organizational Dynamics, he is also the Director of the Master's in Tourism Organizations Management program and a member of the coordinating body of the PhD Program in Tourism. His current research interests include excellence and integrated quality management in tourism destinations, tourism experience, events management, tourism destinations image, and branding and customer satisfaction. He has published both in national and international journals.
Holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Bath (UK). His main research interests are in the areas of strategic management and business ethics. He is the academic partnership advisor for the Britannia School of Business in Sheffield-UK. He has published articles in international scientific journals and has authored books and book chapters. He was the director of the MBA program offered by the Sheffield Business School. He is a chief editor and editorial board member of several international scientific journals. At present, Luiz Montanheiro is a part-time professor at the Sheffield University and the Sheffield Hallam University.
An invited lecturer at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Algarve holds a Master in Marketing Management and is currently preparing her doctoral thesis in Economics and Management Sciences. Her main research interests are related to consumer behavior, specially the measurement and analysis of consumer experiences in different event contexts, cultural, e-sports events and tourism.

His current research interests include management, strategy and the application of advanced statistic methods in various areas highlighting firm and country performances, management and decision support. PhD holder in Natural Resource Economics from the New University of Lisbon and an Assistant Aggregated Professor at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Algarve. He is the Director of the Master's in Tourism Economics and Regional Development program and a member of the Research Centre on Spatial and Organizational Dynamics. He has published in influential journals in the fields of environmental economics and tourism economics. He belongs to the Master´s Directive Board.
An invited lecturer at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Algarve. Holds a Tourism PhD Advanced Course, from Estoril School of Hospitality and Tourism. Prof. Renato Caria received vast experience in Tourism and Hospitality, working in different countries: Portugal, Angola, Algeria, Spain, Mozambique, Cameroon and Kazakhstan. Currently Prof. Renato is taking consultant and trainer positions in several Hospitality companies and locations; he is also a lecturer at Novaims (Lisbon), Autonoma Academy (Lisbon) and European University (Lisbon), teaching courses in hospitality and revenue management.
Holds an MSc in Finance from the University of the Algarve, an MSc in Management Research from the University of Cranfield and a PhD in Management, specialized in Accounting and Finance, from The University of Edinburgh. He is an Assistant Professor and a member of the Centre for Advanced Studies in Management and Economics. He is the Director of the Master's in Accounting program and has authored several papers in the area of finance and accounting. His main research interests are in market based accounting research, financial distress and security analysis.
