Helena Almeida (halmeida@ualg.pt) is assistant professor at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Algarve, member of the Center for Research on Spaces and Organizations (CIEO) holds a PhD in Organizational Psychology and a specialist in the areas of Human Resources Management and Organizational Behavior. The main research interest’s is related to the transfer of knowledge, entrepreneurial ecosystems, empowerment, engagement and innovation. Worked at Center for Vocational Training for Trade (CECOA) at Lisbon (Portugal) as responsible for Pedagogical Training of Trainers (1989 – 1997) and at Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) in Portugal developing educational, training, cultural and recreational programs for youth (1986 – 1989).
